Everyone knows that dogs are man’s best friend, and that loving bond deserves just as much recognition on Valentine’s Day too!

To celebrate the special bond that homeless people around the county share with their dogs, the Street Paws charity is selling special Valentine’s gift sets to help raise much-needed funds.

All of the money raised through the gift boxes will go towards funding Street Paws’ work, in supporting homeless people and their dogs in the North of England and Northern Ireland. This includes the Dog Champions Scheme, which supports homeless hostels to become pet friendly so that people do not have to choose between their dog and a safe place to sleep.

Michelle Southern, founder of Street Paws, said, “The dogs that Street Paws support really are the ultimate companion for the homeless people who look after them.

“That bond is so loving and strong, and that is why this Valentine’s Day we hope that people would like to treat their own pet, and help Street Paws at the same time.”
