Agria Dog Walk Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Dachshund Dog Walk

Agria Dog Walk, in partnership with English Heritage, has set a new Guinness World Record for the “Largest Dachshund Dog Walk.” Held at Marble Hill House in London, the event saw 342 dachshunds participating, surpassing the required minimum attendance of 250 dachshunds.

The Agria Dog Walk, held on Saturday, 18th May, brought together dachshund owners from across the UK. Animal welfare activist and TV personality Jodie Kidd, along with her dog Sausage, joined the event to support the Guinness World Record attempt and encourage participation for the cause of animal welfare.

Vicki Wentworth, CEO at Agria Pet Insurance, says, “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Guinness World Records title. It’s an incredible achievement, and it was an absolute pleasure to watch so many passionate people and pups come together to help support a great cause. We had a fantastic turnout, and we’d like to thank everyone who showed up to walk the walk in the name of animal welfare.”

The event was held in partnership with English Heritage’s Dog-Friendly Days Out and supported by The Kennel Club. The Dog Walk took place at three English Heritage locations across the UK, and extended to Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden, where Agria also provides pet insurance. Approximately 1500 dogs participated either at official sites across the UK or through the Digital Dog Walk.

Agria will donate £20,000 to support rescue and rehoming centres.
