SOS Italian Setters, a newly registered charity, is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming neglected and at-risk Setters from Italy. With thousands of Setters facing abandonment, neglect, or confinement in small enclosures, this organisation works tirelessly to provide these vulnerable dogs with the care, love, and security they deserve.
Working in partnership with established animal welfare charities and reputable organisations across Italy, SOS Italian Setters has created a compassionate rescue network, collaborating with local shelters, veterinary clinics, and transport providers to ensure safe, ethical, and legally compliant transfers of rescued Setters to the UK. Here, these dogs find new beginnings in foster and forever homes where they can finally experience the life they deserve.
The charity relies entirely on public support to fund its life-saving mission. Donations to SOS Italian Setters are essential, enabling the organisation to provide veterinary care, safe transport, and all the essentials required to help each Setter start a new chapter. The organisation’s official charity status also means that all donations are eligible for Gift Aid, ensuring contributions go even further.
