Toffee the two year-old Chihuahua is the apple of his owner’s eye. But when he went to stay with his human ‘aunty and uncle’ for a few days, he made a bid for freedom when the front door was open and ran out onto the road. Toffee was hit by a car, causing a severe damage to his front leg and horrid injuries to his flesh.
