Make Your Own Gingerbread For Your Dog

Let your dog join in on the Christmas fun by making them these delicious gingerbread men!

The above recipe is for you to print out and keep, so please feel free to save and share it.

You will need:
A Baking Tray
A Rolling Pin
A Gingerbread Man Cookie Cutter

Ingredients:
150g All Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Ginger
½ tsp Cinnamon
4 tbsp Water
20ml Vegetable Oil

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to gas mark 5 (190°C).
Combine the flour, ginger and cinnamon together.
Fold in the remaining ingredients and form a dough.
Flour your surface and roll out the dough to around 5mm thick.
Use your cookie cutter to cut the shapes out of the dough and place on a baking tray.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Leave to cool before serving to your dog.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

In moderation, ginger can help with:
Travel sickness
Lowering cholesterol
Improving blood circulation.

Cinnamon can also be a benefit by helping to lower blood sugar levels.
Both ginger and cinnamon should not given in powder form as inhalation can cause difficulty breathing.
