Moroccan Messi needs urgent help (graphic content)

British zoologist Karl Scarr, who shares his home with 150 homeless dogs in Morocco, is running out of time for poor Messi. The stray has a persistent severe undiagnosed skin condition and the medical bills are mounting.

Recent tests came back negative for Leishmaniasis, a parasitic disease that affects the skin or internal organs, but founder of Le Sanctuaire de la Faune de Tanger ("The Wild Animal Sanctuary of Tangier" or SFT), Karl is determined to get to the root of the problem. Besides the sores, Messi is described as a happy and loving dog.

On his GoFundMe page, Karl says, "He is still in a serious condition albeit extremely loving and affectionate, loves his cuddles and is always smiling.  Please donate to cure him of his illness . There is no way I can give up on this wonderful boy but the costs of his treatments are huge."
